Mom Helping Other Moms Honored

Danielle Rowan, owner of the Stroller Strides Corona/Norco franchise, won a nationwide contest Oct. 18, beating out 800 other franchise owners who were nominated by the moms in their group.

And she really deserves it, said Tessa Husen, one of the 15 moms in Rowan’s group who nominated her. Rowan was named Instructor of the Year.

“We’re proud of her,” Husen said. “She’s this amazing instructor who teaches you exercise but she encourages on so many more levels to push yourself.

She pumps you up, she tells you what a role model you are for your kids, she tells you what a good mom you are to get out and exercise for yourself.”

Like other franchise owners, Rowan is a mom herself, with two girls, ages 5 and 2 ½ years. Rowan was part of the Stroller Strides in Lake Elsinore, where she lives, for three months before she decided to start her own franchise.
