Gingerly Dressed Celebrates Open House, Entrepreneurs

Ginger Pettit opened the doors of her fairly new shop last month for a special Open House to celebrate the entrepreneurs who make her business different.

Gingerly Dressed, located on Gill Street in Alcoa, hosted an evening for moms and dads who love something a little different to come and meet designers and creators of everything from dresses to hair bows.

It was a kaleidoscope of offerings. Two Scoops Designs showed off headbands, flip-flops and a variety of other items just right for the little girls in your life. Grammy’s Garden, One Crafty Mama and Maddie & Me also had tables and items packed with offerings.

The “Freedom to Shop” night was a good chance for “mom-preneurs and customers to chat, compare notes and, of course, shop! Many of the mom-preneur businesses have items at Gingerly Dressed year ‘round.
