The Earth Times:

Before creating the MopTop and FuzzyDuck line of products, company founder Kelly Foreman tried a wide range of products — everything from inexpensive drugstore brands to those sold only through exclusive salons. She also became a student of curly hair, reading everything she could on the subject. As she struggled to find the ideal combination for her curls, she began concocting products at home.

“The idea was to create sulfate-free shampoos and products with no silicones, no waxes and no alcohol,” Foreman says. She recalls once spilling a silicone-based haircare product on her countertop, and struggling to get it cleaned off. “I began to wonder what it was doing to my hair. Why was it so hard to get rid of?”

“With these new products, fuzzy or curly hair will look stunning,” says Foreman. “My whole family uses MopTop and FuzzyDuck. In fact, strangers frequently stop to ask what I use to keep my hair from being frizzy.”

“For the first time in my life, I’m happy with my hair being curly,” Foreman adds. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to help others feel the same way.”

I think it’s so wonderful that there are entrepreneurs creating these awesome products for curly hair when the mainstream market caters so much to straight hair.

Curly hair really does require extra care that sometimes takes years to figure out! The research and products that have come out in the past 5 years have been amazingly helpful to those with curly hair like myself!
