Many mom-owned businesses have the benefit of being inspired by their children. Julie sells many great pieces of jewelry for babies and their moms on Sterling and Pearls. She is also careful to make sure that all her baby/children jewelry is lead free.
What I like most about her website is that she ties in one of her children by selling some of the great things that her oldest daughter makes. Julie’s business originally started out of necessity. With the growing worry of lead in items just being one thing. She also found herself in need of something special and unique to give as a baby gift. It’s actually her Baby Jingle Ankle Bracelets that opened the door to her business. They were an Asian and Cambodian tradition where moms and grandmothers gave the new baby one of these pieces of jewelry. It is something that she has been able to pass forward through her website.
I don’t find her website to be the best one available on the internet, but it really does it’s job. It is very clean cut, easy to surf and best of all; it brings together a mom and the talent of her daughter while still being able to offer other great jewelry items.
