Everyone loves a good deal. Francine Jones ‘06 recognizes this, and bases her business around providing the best bargains for all of her customers. FAB Products (Francine’s At-home Business), created in May 2005, offers cost-effective gifts for all occasions.
“I saw a vision of how as a flea market and catalog shopper I always looked for the best bargain, so I wanted to give that to people,” says Jones. “The premise behind my organization is to provide quality products and services to customers for gift giving and fundraising events. We pride ourselves in delivering quality merchandise, on time and in a cost-effective manner.”
Jones graduated from Medaille in May 2006 with her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. According to Jones, “I was inspired through the course work to actually pursue starting my own business. The courses gave me real life concepts and ideas that I could believe in.”
In addition to running FAB Products, after graduating from Medaille, Jones went to study online at the University of Phoenix for her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. She is also the Co-Chair of Recruitment and Marketing on the Medaille College Rochester Campus Alumni Board.
Jones looks forward to expanding her business in the future. “My business goals are to continue to grow my small business to where I can purchase property to host trade shows and flea markets of my own, to continue to stick to strong morals and business ethics and maintain a loyal customer base through merchandise purchases and fundraising campaigns,” says Jones.
