Two Green Moms Are Bagging It

Wacotrib.com:

Jill Clark and Mandi DuPuy have partnered to form Two Green Moms, a company that sells environmentally friendly products.

They’ve begun by marketing tote bags made of polypropylene that will hold 30 pounds. Clark says they’re ideal for grocery shopping and eliminate the need for several plastic bags.

The totes can be used time after time. Clark says they probably have a shelf life of 100 trips to the store.

And when worn out, they’re recyclable.

A single tote costs $3.25. Five are $15.99, and 10 run $29.99.

Clark says she and DuPuy now import the bags, but they’re looking for a domestic manufacturer who can make an affordable tote.

“This is our way of helping the environment,” Clark says. “It’s not good that our landfill is filling up with these plastic bags.”

Two Green Moms is a subsidiary of Clark’s main business, Kiddoozie, which sells promotional products with logos.
