When most people think of scrapbooking images of papers, cut outs, stickers, fancy cut scissors, and of course a huge pile of photos fill their heads. All the time it takes to put these things together is another issue. So when Cathy Bennett couldn’t manage to get the scrapbooking was interested in doing together after the birth of her son, she did something about it.
The new time to beat in scrapbooking is now 7 minutes. On Cathy’s website, How Fast They Grow, the process of creating a scrapbook page is extremely simplified and can be done right from your computer. The pages are 12″ by 12″ and cost $7.50 each.
Taking on a challenge, she has managed to actually open up a whole new business idea that is unique and fills a creative niche for those who don’t have the time to release all of their creative energies. Not even the people that want fun scrapbooks, but don’t have much time, can have them.
Cathy really sums up the need for creating great memories with a quote from her about page, “I wish I had a dime for every person (in the grocery store, doctor’s office, park, you name it!), who has said to me after having a conversation with my baby, ‘enjoy them now, they’ll grow up before you know it.’”
