The Sweet Side Of Childhood

With cards printed using 100% recycled paper, Sweetbeets is another ecologically aware small mom-owned business.

It wasn’t Lisa Zuraw that came up with the name for her business, her husband did. Calling their children “sweetbeets,” she decided that their is no better name out there. After all, her business was created because of her children. So naming it after them is only a natural step.

The unique illustrations on Lisa’s greeting cards are unique and they’re letterpress printed onto the paper in Canada. The imagines displaying some of the fond things we can remember from the innocence of our own childhood, Sweetbeets takes on a new approach to some of the most important cards in our lives. Whether it’s a birth announcement or birthday card. The cards don’t just show a simple colored baby carriage. They show the special moments in children’s lives.

From what I’ve seen of Lisa’s greeting cards, they have a special touch that I think is very attractive. It’s simple and sweet. That makes her business unique in it’s own special way and gives her the opportunity to be very successful.
