Mom Successfully “Shows Her Stuff” Through BSB

April 7, 2008 by Angela | 0 Comments

Many people think BSB means Backstreet Boys, but not anymore. Now it stands for Bean Sprout Babies, a mom-owned business that sells great gifts for kids, paintings and wall murals.

Although Carrie Bishop only does wall murals for local customers, the other great items she sells and makes can be found online for sale. For the child starting to lose his or her teeth, the personalized tooth fairy pillow might be a fun gift idea. Or for a younger child, get a taste of the “old days” with a nostalgic petal plane. Something that looks like it could have come out of the past, but it really does exist now for our children.

Carrie has always been a little creative for as long as she can remember. Even in school she tried selling things that she made to her friends. Her creativity didn’t really grow until after she had her daughter and she decided to start her business. Then she was able to let her creative juices loose and she’s created some great items to sell within her store.

It takes a strong person to take the leap into starting a business. It’s always good to see someone succeed at it.
