After Rebecca had her son she soon realized how much she wanted a baby sling to carry him in so she could have two free hands to take care of other things she needed to do.
It was with her experience in sewing that drove her to create a sling that would pass her own approval. Using some of her favorite fabrics she soon came up with something that she was happy with.
Wearing her son around town in her homemade slings brought questions from other people wondering where she’d gotten it. Some of them wanting to know how they could purchase one. That was around the time when she decided to start selling them.
At Moonday’s Child Rebecca sells her slings which are made out of the best fabrics possible. The ring used on her slings are also tested for high weights for the purpose of making sure they will be able to hold her customer’s babies with no problems at all.
Running her home business out of Jackson, Michigan, Rebecca still hopes to take her business up a notch by making some slings from fabrics that she has hand dyed.
With the right support from her customers and people close to her, hopefully she will be able to continue growing her business to greater successes and more sales.
