eMediaWire:

WorkItMom.com, the leading online community for working mothers, announced today the launch of the Marketplace, a dedicated area on WorkItMom.com where mom entrepreneurs, business owners, freelancers, and bloggers can promote their products and services to thousands of working moms who visit WorkItMom.com daily.

According to Bureau of Labor Statistics approximately 50 percent of U.S. firms are owned and operated by women, including six million owned by mompreneurs. A vast majority of these mompreneurs have created businesses that target parents and other mothers.

“We are very excited to launch our Marketplace,” says WorkItMom.com co-founder and CEO, Nataly Kogan. “This expansion of our site comes in response to multiple requests we have received from our growing membership base. Mom and women entrepreneurs are naturally looking for ways to gain exposure for their businesses and reach their target audience of women and moms. The creation of the Marketplace is another step in furthering our mission of supporting working moms and helping them achieve success in their lives, work, and with their businesses.”

“Small businesses can’t always afford banner ads on sites like WorkItMom.com and the Marketplace allows them to promote their product or service in an affordable and highly targeted way,” adds co-founder Victoria Grace.
