A free service, My Kids Registry helps parents plan and register parties for their children. They offer online wish lists, online scrapbooking, online RSVP, advice, ideas and more. Making this service beneficial to any parent who needs all the help they can get to make their childs party the best they can possibly make it.
Of course, such a resourceful website would have to have been created by a very resourceful mom. Yvette Segal had been in the fashion business for 17 years when she decided it was time to be a stay at home mom. It was two years after having left her job that the idea for My Kids Registry started to form. Yvette was planning her son’s 3rd birthday and looking over a wedding registry when someone called to asked what they should get him for his birthday. An idea started to flicker at that moment. Why weren’t their any registries for kids? Over the days going up to the birthday party she received more questions about what they should get her son, and she gave the same response. The day came and although all the presents were very thoughtful, some of the gifts had been duplicates or were not age appropriate. Their had to be an easier way, so she made one.
The best part of it all is that the registry can be used from home. No store shopping and children begging. This approach helps ease the planning and organizing of a party for kids so parents can spend their time concentrating on other things they need to do for the birthday. The guests won’t have to guess about what to get the child either.
Their are wedding registries and baby registries, it was only natural for a kids registry to come along. It’s about time too. Who would know better about what their doing than a mom who has experienced that need herself?
