One year ago, September 9, 2006 while sitting in an oversized chair watching a Hollywood Baby Boom special, entrepreneur mom of three, Phyllis Pometta thought about her own marketing experiences and how she could utilize her talents and her marketing degree to work for others. It was in an instant that the name “Baby Swags” came to mind and she immediately purchased the domain name. Pometta was struck with an idea that would help bring other entrepreneurial woman made, invented and inspired products into the limelight; entertainment marketing that specialized in work at home mom products. With in one weeks time, the Baby Swags website was up and running. Baby Swags had started out with one welcoming newborn celebrity gift basket and to date, they have gifted over 80 celebrities with a client listing of 130 that continues to grow daily.

“Work at home moms are constantly on the rise, there for it is important to recognize that they are an intricate part of the work force.” Pometta continues, “Many women are looking to find alternative ways to create income and be able to stay at home.”

Baby Swags strives to bring awareness to the products their clients create because behind every baby related product, there are the eyes of a child, and a mother that knows what makes a product not only practical but worth having. Being an entrepreneurial woman brings a sense of pride, joy and love for the products created. These feelings are also reflected onto their children, especially daughters or young girls. They are teaching girls that you can do anything by working hard and believing in yourself and the products you create.

There are many work-at-home moms that do not have the budget for high level advertising and that is where Baby Swags comes in. Baby Swags provides its clients with the high level advertising, without the high level price tag. They offer cooperative advertising, public relations, and marketing strategies along with their unique celebrity baby baskets filled with hand crafted, hand painted, work-at-home mom products or mom inspired inventions. Also offered to their clients, product placements - to which clients have had their products seen on television, celebrity photos, and various magazines; online and in print.
