Hudson Star-Observer:

Felicity Plansky thinks she knows what stay-at-home mothers like her want.

“We want good coffee. Good food. Comfortable seating. We want to know that our children are safe and secure. And it needs to be clean.”

They want a place where they can meet with their friends for a cup of espresso coffee without having their children pulling at them because they are bored.

The Giggle Factory is furnished with a large, multi-level play structure for children that has all kinds of things to slide on, crawl through, push and climb. It’s all padded and enclosed in a mesh fabric for the children’s protection.

The 4,800-square-foot space also has a play area for toddlers, a birthday party area, café seating, leather club chairs, coffee tables and wireless Internet connection.

“This has been designed not just for the children, but for what the parents want,” Plansky says.
