A few years ago, Ali left a demanding corporate job to focus more time on her kids, so she became her own boss.
“It provides a wonderful flexible schedule for me because I work the hours that I want to work and I get paid based on the work that I do,” she said.
Ali started a wellness business that offers products designed for a healthy lifestyle.
What has helped mothers like Ali make the transition to work at home is access to technology.

Cohen said mothers are becoming just as tech savvy as their husbands, and they’re taking advantage of that both at work and at home.
